Transfer tomorrow!!

I finally got a tentative date on Saturday that the donors retrieval would be Tuesday morning, yay! That meant start those big progesterone shots and book a flight out! The clinic wanted me here Thursday (yesterday), just in case we needed to do a 3 day transfer. IM and I thought the transfer would most likely be a 5 day so we planned on dinner tonight, going around town tomorrow and then bed rest Sunday. Well, we got a call from the clinic this morning saying the transfer is tomorrow morning! A 4 day transfer wow! Apparently the day 4’s have been going nicely so doc wants to do that. So ill have a good two days for bed rest which will be perfect! In the meantime, I walked myself over to the Starbucks down the street and then into a few stores to look around. By myself! First of all, I’ve never been alone with a hotel to myself, so this time is kind of bitter sweet. I miss my family and especially my kids dearly, but at the same time I know this is good for me for a change. I never have time to relax and just be alone. So I guess it’s healthy. In the meantime, we are crazy excited for tomorrow morning. I have a good feeling about these little embryos, but I have been wrong a lot in the past, and won’t predict the future with this one. We are so close. It’s time for them to have a family. Fingers are crossed for tomorrow :).
